Paper Birds Privacy Policy

Information collected

Paper Birds does not collect personal information or send personal data to a WoodenDev server. The app has no Paper Birds account system, analytics, advertising, or third-party crash-reporting service.

Tracking

Paper Birds does not track you across apps or websites, use advertising identifiers, or sell personal data.

Preferences and automatic flight

Your flight choices and automatic-start preferences are stored locally on your Mac. Current time and display information help vary the scenery locally.

For automatic flight, the app checks how much time has passed since user input. It does not record your keystrokes, mouse positions, or browsing activity. It also checks whether another app is keeping the display awake.

In-App Purchases

Expanded Flight purchases are handled by Apple through the App Store. Apple processes payment and Apple Account information under its own policies. Paper Birds does not receive your payment-card details.

The app uses Apple-verified transaction information on your Mac to unlock features and restore purchases. This information is not sent to a WoodenDev server.

Third-party services

Paper Birds uses Apple’s system frameworks, including StoreKit for purchases. It includes no third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.

Apple and macOS may process diagnostics independently according to your Apple settings and Apple’s policies.

This website

This website uses no cookies, analytics, external web fonts, or third-party JavaScript. When hosted on GitHub Pages, GitHub processes visitor connection information, including IP addresses, to provide and secure its hosting service. That hosting activity is separate from the Paper Birds app.
